Ahead of the film’s London premiere that evening, we spent the afternoon at Kotn Shoreditch with friends, old and new. A chance to gather around Your Mother, Your Mother, Your Mother and share in the collaboration that brought us together.

Mah Moud opened with a live performance before joining writer-director Bassam Tariq and our Creative Director Farrukh Ershad for an intimate conversation, moderated by Noura A. Sheikh of Black Muslim Collective. With perspectives spanning film, music, and fashion, an honest and spirited discussion unfolded around Muslim creativity and the stories we tell.

From Toronto to London, these gatherings have become part of the story of YM3X. We’re grateful for the time spent together and for everyone who has found a connection to the work.

Our love to Bassam, Mah Moud, Farrukh, Noura, our friends at Kotn, and everyone who shared the afternoon with us.
Until next time, London.
