At 5ivepillars we believe that there is a thread that connects us all. Our own team is made up of a diverse group of individuals, we speak different languages, we come from different ethnicities, and we live in different countries, yet despite all these factors that separate us, we share a bond. We believe our bond comes from the stories we share with each other, these stories about our goals, our families, and our experiences allow us to connect. At 5ivepillars we believe everyone has a story to tell, here's a little bit of Qias Omar's:
1. What are your 5ivepillars?
I don't know about 5 but family is 1,2,3,4 and 5. Without family I'm nothing. They make me work hard and drive me. From my parents to my fiance. Without them there is nothing else.
2. What are 5 goals you have for this year?
Reach 1 million subs, get my own sneaker collab, start my own business, buy less stuff I don't need lol, and bring back my QrewKicks channel and make it the best sneaker channel on YouTube again.
3. What piece of advice would you give someone who wants to start their own YouTube channel?
Be consistent. Bring your personality to your channel and find what works for you but find a constant upload schedule. People will forget about you quick if you stop uploading and find someone new.
4. What is your favorite piece from the new collection?
My favorite is the grey graphic hoodie. Such a classic and crazy hoodie. The back is amazing from the screen print to the stitching to the patch. I got so many compliments when I wore it from older afghan people to young people in the streetwear culture.
5. What is something that has kept you motivated through all of your difficult times?
My dad. Since the day he came to this country until now he has worked his ass off. Every time I think about taking the easy way out I think if my dad would do the same and it stops me cause I know he would never take a day off. He works his butt off and grinds everyday.
